On Friday 19 April we attended Apache North Sea at Kingswells for the naming of a new addition to our fleet.
The Triumph Tiger 800 XRx Low which was fully funded by Apache and supplied by Shirlaw's Ltd in Aberdeen will be a very welcome asset and hopefully encourage some of our smaller volunteers to join the operational rota.
The staff at Apache ran a competition among their staff to provide a list of potential names, with the NERVS Board picking the winner. The name "Beryl" (an Apache owned North Sea oil field) was picked as it follows the pattern of girls names that the other bikes have.
A huge thanks to the Apache Charities Committee for their very generous support, to Craig Shirlaw for supplying "Beryl" and PFI Loftus for the Hi Vis livery job.
